1. Start with the numbers

On 17 October, China News Service's health channel cited China CDC week-41 surveillance: the top three pathogens by positive rate in influenza-like illness at outpatient and emergency departments were influenza virus (13.6%), rhinovirus (11.2%) and enterovirus (3.9%). Among hospitalised cases of severe acute respiratory infection, rhinovirus, influenza virus and human metapneumovirus ranked highest. The COVID-19 positive rate continues to fall and is at a low epidemic level.

Experts also note that Mycoplasma pneumoniae is relatively common in school-age children, typically presenting with fever and cough; in some children the cough is severe and prolonged, and penicillin and cephalosporin antibiotics do not work against it.

In one sentence: the pathogens have changed leading actors, but the route of transmission has not changed — it is still the air in the same room.

2. A tutoring centre's air is not a school's air

A school keeps the same group of people in the building all day. A tutoring centre runs several different groups through the same classroom in one day. That difference has three consequences:

1. More frequent crossover. One class leaves and the next sits down, often with only ten minutes in between.

2. Smaller rooms. Classrooms are typically 20–40 m², and once full the air volume per person is tiny.

3. Worse ventilation. Street-facing rooms mean noise and dust, so windows stay shut year-round and a single air conditioner handles the internal circulation.

What parents actually care about is not the spec sheet. It is whether their child starts coughing after class.

3. Why the KJ-501T2 suits a tutoring centre

① Enough airflow to turn the room over in a ten-minute break

A 1000 m³/h intelligent variable-frequency low-noise fan with a particulate CADR of 1020 m³/h. The gap between two classes is enough for one effective cycle.

② Quiet enough not to interrupt teaching

The intelligent variable-frequency low-noise design does not disturb lectures, listening practice or one-to-one tutoring.

③ Dual sensors and automatic mode, so the principal does not have to watch it

Dual sensors with a real-time digital display put air quality on screen; automatic mode adjusts the fan speed from live data. Front-desk staff do not have to remember to change anything.

④ Tuya smart remote linkage, one network across campuses

Tuya smart remote linkage lets multiple campuses read data and manage units from a single back end. For a chain, that is far more practical than "one unit per classroom, each managed separately".

⑤ Air and surfaces together, including desks and teaching aids

Actively released plasma acts on both air and surfaces with no dead zones, at a plasma density of 3.8×10¹⁹/m³ and a bacteria and virus inactivation rate of 99.99%. The desks, armrests and teaching aids children touch fall inside its reach.

⑥ A metal floor-standing body that can be moved

The metal mobile floor-standing body moves from a large classroom to a small one, and can be stored away during holidays.

4. Doing the maths

The number that matters is not the purchase price. It is how much clean air each child breathes per hour. Spread airflow, CADR, whether it runs automatically and whether it covers surfaces across actual hours of use, and the conclusion is often the opposite of intuition.

5. Closing

Parents choose a tutoring centre by its teachers and its curriculum. What keeps a child from taking repeated sick days all winter is often the air in that classroom.

The Kangbeijing KJ-501T2 suits training centres, open-plan offices, vaccination rooms, clinics, supermarkets, exhibition halls and restaurant dining halls.
